Fatigue Management, Energy Boosting

Course Overview

“I have been experiencing extreme fatigue, to the point where I cannot function well at work or even go out of the house.”

If you are or you know someone going through this, this course is for you. It focusses on fatigue from traumatic events, for example cancer-related fatigue or surgery for other reasons. Studies have shown that dietary management can fight against this debilitating syndrome, which inhibits rehabilitation progress. Such fatigue may lead to change in mood, loss of appetite, loss of weight, emotional distress amongst many factors. Alongside are possible inflammation from the event, and the additional nutritional demands from the treatments. All these can lead to changes in body composition and nutritional deficiencies that potentially will weaken you, and worsen the fatigue you are facing. You are tired, but you know you have a need. Persisted fatigue can delay recovery and affect the quality of life. This 75-minute course will provide good learning and helpful tips.

Suitable for the person concerned, caregiver and/or therapist.
